We love the urban, modern aesthetic of a sling pack – but the problem with so many of them is they have to sit on your right shoulder. Not so with this smart-looking Transporter Sling from Osprey, which boasts an ambidextrous strap that you can wear either way round. In fact, it might well be among the most comfortable slings we've ever come across, with a stabiliser strap and an AirScape backpanel featuring breathable mesh over die-cut foam cushioning. It's constructed in Osprey's innovative NanoTough high-tenacity nylon, for a pack that's durable, lightweight and water-resistant. Relatively compact at 13 litres, the Transporter Sling nevertheless crams in a surprising amount of storage – with internal organisation pockets, a zip pocket on the front, a 14" laptop sleeve and a handy little mesh phone pocket on the harness.
